RAISING SUPPORT FOR YOUR TRIP
Support on our trips involves both Prayer and Finances. The concept of raising support lifts the burden off of you both spiritually and financially. Spiritually because we must learn to depend on God, realizing He is the one who changes lives. Financially because we must learn to depend on God, realizing he is the one who provides for our needs. Paying for a short-term mission trip does not mean that you should pay for all of it out of your own pocket. It is a very healthy thing to ask for funds and give church members and friends the chance to give.
Raising support for your trip:

- Allows you to develop deeper personal relationships... by depending on others.
- Opens doors to evangelism and ministry relationships with supporters
- Builds a base of prayer support in your life
- Allows God to develop you... becuase you are forced to trust him in some ways

- Gives people the opportunity to invest in the body of Christ something with eternal consequences
